A Uniqode alternative with editable QR codes that never get switched off

On Uniqode, dynamic QR codes stop working when the free trial ends or a subscription lapses, plans are billed yearly, and a custom domain is a $2,000-a-year add-on. MicroURL’s free plan includes editable QR codes and a custom domain, and we never switch a printed code off because of a plan.

When Uniqode is the better pick

Uniqode does more than codes that open a web page: digital business cards for a whole team, forms and landing pages built inside the product, and enterprise extras like Microsoft Entra ID sign-in and invoice billing. If those are what you need, it’s built for them and we aren’t.

MicroURL is worth it when you want codes you can point somewhere new without paying first, on your own domain without a $2,000 add-on, that keep working whatever happens to your plan. We also make free static QR codes if that’s all you need.

Moving printed codes, honestly

A code already printed from Uniqode points at Uniqode. We can’t take it over; that address belongs to them. If it’s still working, point it at your page for now, and print MicroURL codes on your next run.

From then on, the reprint is the last one. A MicroURL code points at a short link you can change any time, on your own domain if you like.

Early customers get the move done for them, free. Email us with how many codes you have.

No lock-in, in writing

At least 90 days’ notice before we ever shut down, CSV export of your links and clicks at any time, and your domain stays yours. The full pledge is on our trust page.
